Your role in the team

• As a software developer (m/f/d), your area of responsibility includes model-based, functional software development for autonomous robot systems.
• You will develop architectures, functions and software for e.g. our lawn mower robots and associated development tools.
• You are responsible for the model-based development of the software with Mathworks tools (MATLAB Simulink, Stateflow) and use the Atlassian tool chain (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo) as well as common software development processes such as SCRUM.
• In addition, you assume responsibility for functions and applications throughout their entire life cycle, from the requirements for protection to continuous improvements.

Our expectations of you

Education

• You have successfully completed a university degree, ideally with a focus on robotics, computer science, mechatronics, control engineering or a scientific/technical background.

Qualifications

• You are familiar with the use of standard tools for software administration and task management in the field of software development.
• You quickly grasp complex software and system architectures and enjoy their further development and redesign.
• You are distinguished by your confident demeanor, persuasiveness and successful communication at all levels of cooperation in German and English.

Experience

• You already have experience with model-based software development (MATLAB Simulink, Stateflow) or in-depth experience with programming languages such as C/C++ or Python.
