Director of Financial Planning & Analysis
Denver CO
Annualized Compensation: $150000 to $180000
The Director of FP&A will be a key member of our executive team responsible for leading the finance department and providing strategic financial guidance to ensure the companys financial strength and operating efficiency. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking operational finance skills leadership and integrity. The successful candidate will be instrumental in financial planning analysis budgeting and reporting as well as in supporting the decisionmaking process across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company aligning with the overall business strategy. Provide insights and guidance on financial planning budgeting cash flow investment priorities and policy matters.
Financial Management and Oversight: Oversee all aspects of the finance functions including budgeting forecasting financial reporting tax and treasury activities. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and standards.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead motivate and develop a highperforming finance team. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key stakeholders including investors banks auditors and regulatory agencies. Communicate effectively with the board of directors providing accurate and timely financial information and analysis to inform decisionmaking.
Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities. Implement robust financial controls and governance processes to mitigate risk.
Operational Efficiency: Drive efficiency and cost reduction initiatives throughout the organization leveraging technology and process improvements to optimize financial operations.
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field. Master s degree or professional finance/accounting certification (e.g. CPA CFA) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial management roles with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position preferably with a techenabled business within the transportation industry.
Proven track record of strategic financial planning and analysis including experience with mergers and acquisitions corporate finance and financial modeling.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team towards excellence.
Exceptional analytical organizational and decisionmaking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a proven track record of building relationships with key stakeholders and executive teams.
Deep understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Proficient operating in NetSuite.
Experience within the insurance industry and/or fleet finance industry preferred.
