The Oracle EBS Application DBA will manage Oracle EBusiness Suite databases during our strategic migration from onpremises EBS applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and transitioning from SPARC Solaris to Oracle Linux. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in database administration with handson experience in EBS application migrations.

What youll be doing

• Develop and execute comprehensive database migration plans to transition EBS applications to OCI ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Support and optimize the conversion process from SPARC Solaris to Oracle Linux focusing on database performance and stability.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Functional EBusiness Suite Resource and EBS Technical Developer to ensure a seamless and efficient migration process.
• Proactively monitor and maintain EBS application databases in OCI ensuring high availability optimal performance and scalability.
• Implement and enforce strict database security measures including data encryption and access control to protect sensitive information.
• Conduct regular database backups establish robust recovery procedures and manage patch updates to ensure data resilience and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex databaserelated issues during and postmigration providing expertlevel support and guidance.

What youll need:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Oracle EBusiness Suite database administration particularly in migration projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in migrating EBS applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and transitioning from SPARC Solaris to Oracle Linux.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its associated services.
• Exceptional problemsolving and analytical skills with a proven ability to tackle complex database challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of effective teamwork in technologydriven environments.
