Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

We re looking for a meticulous and experienced Payroll Specialist to be responsible for payroll matters for local and regional staff.

• Oversee and ensure that employee records are accurate in internal systems;
  
• Handle fullcycle payroll transactions for local and regional staff;
  
• Support verification of payroll related processes ensuring data accuracy and completeness;
  
• Update attendance for local and regional staff into internal systems;
  
• Compile reports on payroll and employee reports for management review;
  
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for payroll systems and processes;
  
• Communicate and work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance under audit and legal requirements;
  
• Address enquiries from both internal and external parties with regards to payroll statutory contributions and other payment matters;
  
• Support business stakeholders or other Human Resource team members on other HR or administrative matters.
  

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resource Management would be an advantage;
  
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferably handling both local and regional headcounts;
  
• Excellent knowledge of employment and tax regulations;
  
• Experience working with payroll software would be an advantage;
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different levels of people within the organisation.
