To join our team you will need:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- MS Project Excel and PowerPoint knowledge;
- Must have English language skills;
- German language skills are a plus;
- Good communication skills;
As a Project Engineer you will have to:
- Participate in development of seatbelt systems to meet all automaker specifications and governmental safety standards;
- Maintain robust engineering documents including DFMEA DVP&R and Design Guidelines Document (DGD);
- Be the primary project interface to design team to properly package product in CAD vehicle environment proposing BOMs (Bill of Materials)and drawing requirements;
- Release internal assembly drawings and customer envelope drawings;
- Bring customer requirements in all required tolerance stackups and design studies to ensure proper interface with vehicle environment;
- Coordinate all testing and production validation (product robustness) to meet occupant injury and product performance criteria per established Autoliv customer and/or regulatory requirement;
- Support all prototype part builds both internally and at the customer as required.
