Job Responsibilities

The Enterprise Architect works with business and technology teams to develop and manage corporate andbusiness strategies for applications and technologies that deliver and sustain endtoend business operations.They must be able to partner effectively with a wide range of teams including business leaders delivery teamsand external partners in order to drive business success while promoting and ensuring alignment with theenterprise portfolio and technology strategy.

Accountable for the creation and maintenance of the long term investment plan and technology roadmap toachieve the strategic IT objectives. This includes:

• Facilitating working sessions with the IT SLT and key IT and business team members toward the developmentof the IT Investment Plan and Technology roadmap.
• Supporting the IT Application and Portfolio Owners and business leaders in their domain for the developmentof the operating company and enterprise investment plans and technology roadmaps.
• Understanding current and projected business results and how the investment portfolio impacts those results.
• Understanding threats to achieving results and ensuring that the appropriate mitigating actions are beingtaken.
• Driving the identification of technology opportunities to positively impact business results.
• Recommending Lifecycle Planning (LCP) needs and identifying and driving business value throughtechnology.

Responsible to promote innovation that benefits a line of business and/or the enterprise: This includes:

• Identifying researching evaluating and tracking technology industry trends and developments.

• Collaborating with key technology vendors and industry leaders to identify strategic and innovative uses oftechnology.
• Developing proof of concept and/or prototypes to assess feasibility and fit of new technologies.
• Developing business cases and makes recommendations.
• Showcasing communicating and marketing ideas and concepts.

• Leading EA Domain activities that ensure wellformed agendas and effective planning for each domain. EADomains include Application Data Integration Infrastructure Security Mobile and Cloud.

• Ensures clear guidelines and standards for technology product use within the enterprise
• Develops and maintains an integrated technology strategy target architecture and governance for productlifecycle status within each domain.

• Maintains and drives data stewardship and the management of for our enterprise portfolio repository (e.g.planning and scoping enhancements establishing related analytical tools etc.).
• Provides EA leadership to solution / project architects for the companys most strategic complex and high riskbusiness initiatives and new initiatives within their domain.
• Provides thought leadership and guidance to business leaders on information system technologies theirroadmaps their functionalities costs benefits implementation requirements and additional opportunities toimpact business results.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or Business or a related field
• 10 years of relevant experience within the information technology field or an industry with reliance ontechnical expertise

Key Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience implementing / managing Enterprise Architecture and Technology Standards programs in mediumto large organizations
• Sound expertise in product/program management and alignment with architecture deliverables
• Ability to proactively communicate technical topics in a clear succinct and relevant way
• Proven experience in managing program budgets and technology cost centers in large corporateenvironments to ensure corporate targets are met
• Technology procurement & technology financial operations experience ensuring vendor contracts supportbusiness and corporate needs
• Proficient in working with business areas to understand needs/requirements with an ability provide innovativesolutions
• Technically knowledgeable with the ability to assess solutions for current and future needs acrossorganizations.
• Proven experience with leading teams on the implementation and enhancements of Energy Efficiencytechnologies and/or cloud technologies.
• Track record as an innovator and agent leading organizations and people through change
• Proven experience in long term planning including building roadmaps and program planning
• Digital acumen
• Strong leadership and influence skills
• Ability to present to all levels of management & executive leadership
• Excellent teamwork facilitation relationship building and negotiation skills

• Advanced degree e.g. Masters of Computer Science
• Industry Certifications e.g. TOGAF 9 Open CA CISSP etc.
