Experience Required: 1012 years
Experience using Jellyfish highly preferred.
Experience in Product Companies with preference given to SAAS Companies.
Role & Responsibilities:
As an Agile Program Manager you will play a pivotal role in ushering in a unified approach to work aligning our global R&D organization under the One Employ way of working. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple projects and scrum teams locally while actively fostering closer alignment among teams worldwide.
- Collaborating with the PMO Lead to establish and develop a local Program Management Organization within the broader R&D Operations team.
- Coordinating schedules across various Agile projects and teams effectively managing dependencies.
- Serving as a Scrum Master for one or more teams facilitating daily standup meetings reviews retrospectives and addressing impediments in collaboration with Engineering Managers.
- Ensuring effective sprint planning in partnership with Product Managers to ensure timely backlog readiness for development.
- Maintaining team metrics and providing comprehensive reporting on the status of quarterly and sprint commitments.
- Encouraging teams to aim for potentially releasable code in each sprint.
- Prioritizing tasks strategically to maximize impact on shared success.
- Collaborating with the PMO Lead to devise and implement project process changes across the R&D organization.
- Cultivating relationships with local Product and Engineering leaders as well as those in North America to enhance transparency and information sharing.
- Identifying and escalating areas of concern and potential solutions to address inefficiencies across R&D.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1012 years of experience managing Agile software development projects.
- Strong aptitude for building relationships and fostering collaboration.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized analytical detailoriented and qualityminded.
- Experience in managing organizational process changes.
- Certification as a Scrum Master.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence tooling; experience with Jellyfish is a plus.
