Financial Reporting Specialist Baltics

Join our team as a Financial Reporting Specialist where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy completeness and timeliness of financial reporting activities. This opportunity is available in Tallinn Vilnius or Riga.

As a Financial Reporting Specialist you will be responsible for upholding financial reporting integrity and compliance. Your role will involve ensuring regulatory requirements are met maintaining accuracy and delivering timely reports. You will align financial reports with organizational statements and drive process improvements to optimize workflows. Collaborating across teams youll gather analyze and consolidate financial data for reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and compile accurate and comprehensive financial reports for submission within established timelines ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  
• Statistical and Credit Bureau Reporting: Managing other important data exchanges such as provision of loan portfolio data for statistical purposes to government authorities as well as maintaining quality and ensuring timeliness completeness and quality of Banks loan portfolio data in credit bureaus.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements including those mandated by the central bank and other regulatory bodies by maintaining uptodate knowledge of regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments to reporting processes.
  
• Reconciliation and Validation: Perform regular reconciliations of financial data ensuring consistency and accuracy between various financial reports and systems. Conduct validation checks to verify the integrity of financial information and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  
• Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather relevant data address reporting requirements and facilitate communication and coordination across departments.
  
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes enhance efficiency and improve data accuracy through the implementation of best practices automation tools and technology solutions.
  
• Documentation and RecordKeeping: Maintain thorough documentation of financial reporting processes procedures and controls ensuring compliance with internal policies regulatory standards and audit requirements.
  
• Adhoc Analysis and Projects: Support adhoc financial analysis projects and initiatives as assigned by management contributing expertise and insights to special projects strategic initiatives and business planning efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in finance accounting economics or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Fluent in English bothwritten and spoken.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in financial reporting software and tools skilled in creating and modifying PivotTables utilizing LOOKUP functions or similar automation functions (such as INDEXMATCH combination) proficiency in manually creating XML files in Excel and familiarity with VBA is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
• Proficiency in additional languages may be advantageous particularly if working in a multinational environment.
