Project Estimator

Title: Project Estimator (onsite)

Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in US)

Type: Temporary Project

Musthave skills: 7 y of exp as a lead project estimator in construction; Exp with renewable energy and/or high voltage transmission projects; exp with capital expenditure (CapEx)

Location: Juno Beach FL

Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.

Requirements:

Availability to work 100% at the Clients site in Juno Beach FL (required);
Experience as a Project Estimator (7 years);
Project management; leadership experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel;
Valid drivers license;
Preferred:
Experience in renewables or transmission projects

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Prepares capital cost estimates;
Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate;
Coordinates with other departments ensuring understanding of project objectives and efficient utilization of resources;
Reviews layouts designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate;
Remains current with technology and industry evolution assuring that capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions;
Establishes builds and implements metrics for cost and construction estimate checks;
Mentors and develops junior members of the team;
Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned
