Job Description

We are currently looking for experienced HGV Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations for a client in Ayrshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate assigned HGVs in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Transport goods to various locations in a timely manner ensuring ontime delivery.
  • Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the security of cargo during transportation adhering to loading and unloading procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and other team members.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
