Job Description

We have a 7month onsite Help Desk Support Representative contract at our client offices in Jackson Mississippi. The anticipated start is early March through September 2024 and may be extended by our client.

This is strictly an onsite assignment. No other working arrangements will be entertained. Do not apply for this assignment unless you are willing to fully commit to always working onsite in Jackson Mississippi. If the Help Desk Support Representative asks for alternate working arrangements in the interview they may be immediately disqualified. If alternate working arrangements are asked for after the Help Desk Support Representative starts work they may immediately be released from the contract.

Our client has a current goal for every community to effectively use a WorldClass Data System to improve outcomes. This goal is to increase the availability of quality data to drive decisions that improve outcomes. Our client is planning to satisfy this goal in part by modernizing their current information system along with improving the quality of data in connected systems. This will include webbased application development and creation of dashboards and reports that will improve access accuracy and ease of use for all stakeholders.

The Help Desk Support Representative will focus on providing all levels of support to our clients customer base both remotely and onsite. The Help Desk Support Representative will be the initial point of contact with end users requesting Information Technology Support. The Help Desk Support Representative should have experience in DesktopLaptop repair and troubleshooting software installation hardware implementation and active directory administration. The Help Desk Support Representative must also have experience providing remote assistance using various platforms and must be experienced with providing support for Office 365 applications. The Help Desk Support Representative must be good at organizing prioritizing and planning. The Help Desk Support Representative must be able to update and maintain Help Desk records in accordance with established support procedures. The Help Desk Support Representative must also have excellent communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or related field.
  • Must have an A Certification.
  • 3 years excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices.
  • 3 years strong written oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • 3 years ability to work in a team oriented collaborative environment.
  • 3 years ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • 3 years ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
  • 3 years exceptional attention to detail with proven analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • 3 years highly selfmotivated and directed.
  • 3 years experience working in a help desk environment.
  • 3 years experience providing support for O365 Applications.
  • 3 years experience providing remote assistance using various platforms.
  • 3 years experience in desktoplaptop repair troubleshooting and software installation.
  • 3 years hardware Implementation and Deployment.
  • 3 years Active Directory Management.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Microsoft O365 experience.
  • Experience using Help Desk Software.
  • MAC OS Experience.
  • Training Experience.

  • Must be a direct hire.
  • Must commit to onsite work for the duration of this assignment.
