Role: Security Engineer

Location: Detroit Michigan

Duration: 12 Months (Likely to be extended)

Pay rate: $60$75/hr on w2

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer with a strong background in cybersecurity specifically holding the Certified Cloud Information Security Professional (CCISP) certification. As a Security Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our organizations information systems and data assets.

Responsibilities:

• CCISP Expertise: Leverage your indepth knowledge and expertise in cloud security as demonstrated by the CCISP certification to enhance the overall security posture of our organizations cloudbased infrastructure.
• Security Architecture: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement robust security architectures for cloud environments ensuring the confidentiality integrity and availability of sensitive information.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively. Stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies to proactively address security challenges.
• Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security incident investigating and documenting the root cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or related field.
• CCISP certification is mandatory.
• 8 years proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Indepth knowledge of cloud security best practices and technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols security architecture and risk management.
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant compliance standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA ISO 27001).
