Job Title: Software Engineer (Javascript Typescript Node.js APIs)

Location: Johnston IA US

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: USD $50.00 $54.00 / hr

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop highquality APIs for JD Financial using Javascript Typescript and Node.js.
2. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure adherence to API development standards proper documentation and effective coaching on API creation.
3. Participate in Scrum team events such as daily scrums refinement planning and retrospectives.
4. Pair and coach team members primarily in Javascript/Typescript/Node.js with a primary focus on API creation.
5. Enhance and accelerate the API Enablement Teams initiatives.

Skill Set Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Javascript Typescript and Node.js.
2. Experience with AWS services.
3. Extensive experience in API development including standards documentation creation and coaching (minimum 3 years required).
4. Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
5. Familiarity with Scrum team events and agile development practices.

Education Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

NicetoHave Skills:

• Previous experience working in a similar role within the financial industry.
• Certification in AWS services or related technologies.
