Senior PHP Developer

If you love a challenge and enjoy solving complex problems this role could be an ideal match. The team is looking for a Senior/Lead PHP developer to join them, someone who is hands-on but comfortable being a first point of contact for less experienced engineers.

About You

• Strong, commercial experience with PHP and OOP.
• Good experience working with Laravel and bespoke MVC frameworks
• Automated testing experience
• MySQL and relational database design
• API design & development
• Familiar with modern tooling (Docker, Git, PHPStan, PHPUnit, CD/CI, etc)
• Bonus points for Symfony, VueJS and/or Angular, and working in an Agile environment

The company is based in Halifax (near Leeds), but the team is happy for you to work remotely most of the year, with monthly team meetings to aid collaboration. You must be UK based with full right to work in the UK to qualify for this role, and able to travel to Halifax once per month.
