Key Responsibilities
Conducting Security audits and surveys.
Conducting investigations in cases such as theft Fraud accidents and willful destruction of company property.
Supervising and conducting appraisals for the team.
Carrying out intelligence gathering for prevention and detection of criminals activities.
Developing the capacity of the security team to be able to discharge their duties effectively.
Managing the resources allocated to the department in an efficient manner.
Ensuring the integrity of the company s access control systems to avoid any violation.
Serving as a main point of contact for all security issues
Ensuring safety of produce and vehicles during transportation.
Developing and facilitate security and safety training in view of increasing safety security and risk management capacity
Providing regular advice and counsel to management on matters relating to employee and property safety and security.
Evaluating security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
Ensuring proactive security measures are in place and updated.
Updating security procedures/equipment in line with market demands.
Representing company interests in all court cases when needed.
Attending to emergency situations touching on company assets & personnel s.
Responsible for staff health and safety.
Perform any other duty as allocated by management.
Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Criminology Political science Arts or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution
Five years of experience in a managerial position from a reputable security organization.
Integrity and honesty.
Good cognitive skills.
Results oriented.
Sound Investigative skills.
Leadership qualities.
