Lead Security

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting Security audits and surveys.
  

• Conducting investigations in cases such as theft Fraud accidents and willful destruction of company property.
  

• Supervising and conducting appraisals for the team.
  

• Carrying out intelligence gathering for prevention and detection of criminals activities.
  

• Developing the capacity of the security team to be able to discharge their duties effectively.
  

• Managing the resources allocated to the department in an efficient manner.
  

• Ensuring the integrity of the company s access control systems to avoid any violation.
  

• Serving as a main point of contact for all security issues
  

• Ensuring safety of produce and vehicles during transportation.
  

• Developing and facilitate security and safety training in view of increasing safety security and risk management capacity
  

• Providing regular advice and counsel to management on matters relating to employee and property safety and security.
  

• Evaluating security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
  

• Ensuring proactive security measures are in place and updated.
  

• Updating security procedures/equipment in line with market demands.
  

• Representing company interests in all court cases when needed.
  

• Attending to emergency situations touching on company assets & personnel s.
  

• Responsible for staff health and safety.
  

• Perform any other duty as allocated by management.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Criminology Political science Arts or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution
  

• Five years of experience in a managerial position from a reputable security organization.
  

• Integrity and honesty.
  

• Good cognitive skills.
  

• Results oriented.
  

• Sound Investigative skills.
  

• Leadership qualities.
