Job Details
- Shift: Day:810hours Monday to Friday 40 hours/week
- Work Location: Onsite; Palo Alto CA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments to gather information about the patients medical history reproductive health and current concerns.
- Perform physical examinations including pelvic exams and breast exams.
- Assist in or perform diagnostic procedures such as Pap smears colposcopies and ultrasounds.
- Provide education on reproductive health family planning and gynecological conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Assist in gynecological surgeries and provide pre and postoperative care.
- Offer emotional support to patients dealing with gynecological issues including fertility concerns pregnancyrelated matters and menopausal symptoms.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records documenting assessments interventions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as obstetricians midwives and radiologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of gynecological care.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor s Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited academic institution. (preferred)
Experience
- Preferred gynecology background ambulatory outpatient clinic experience is also helpful
Licenses and Certifications
- RN Registered Nurse State Licensures And/Or Compact State Licensures
- BLS Basic Life Support
