DevSecOps Engineer

• Integrate security and privacy throughout the Software Development Lifecycle utilizing advanced tools like SonarQube Burp Suite Nessus OpenVAS Nmap Tripwire Kali Linux OWASP ZAP and Acunetix.
  
• Employ technologies such as SAST DAST IAST and SCA to proactively identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  
• Conduct thorough Threat Modeling evaluations analyzing potential risks in various processes systems or technologies.
  
• Perform both manual and automated source code analysis and reviews across multiple programming languages including Java and .NET.
  
• Develop and implement automated processes and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security protocols.
  
• Proactively monitor systems to identify and address potential vulnerabilities or weaknesses.
  
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents including data breaches and cyberattacks.
  
• Educate teams on security best practices utilizing presentations and learning tools to highlight security exploits and associated risks.
  
• Evaluate test and implement a range of security technologies and tools to fortify the organizations security posture.
  
• Foster a culture of security within the organization through collaboration and knowledge sharing with the wider security team.
  

Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience in securityfocused roles including leadership and mentoring.
  
• Proficiency in inspecting code for security issues in languages like Java and .NET.
  
• A deep understanding of software development security operations and best practices across various software stacks.
  
• Expertise in programming languages such as PHP Java .NETCore and .NET.
  
• Familiarity with Public Cloud Security tools services and components including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Containers.
  
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (e.g. Git Jenkins CircleCI Ansible Terraform).
  
• Indepth knowledge of security and privacy principles and best practices.
  
• Exceptional problemsolving skills.
  
• Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written.
  
• A bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or a related field.
