DS Technologies Inc is looking for Senior MongoDB Engineer role for one of our premier clients. Hybrid role.
Role:Senior MongoDB Engineer with DevOps
Location:BaltimoreMD(Hybrid)
Local Candidate Certified Federal project experience preferred
Description of Work:
Strong knowledge of Mongo Community Edition on Linux MongoDB architecture and experience with scripting automationChampion the use of tools with PostgreSQL Community Edition.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new skills embed with a team solicit ideas and feedback and have good communication skills and on a daytoday basis perform the following:
Automate and maintain MongoDB databases and infrastructure using Community Edition on Linux.
Attend all customer technical discussions/design/development meetings and provide technical inputs to further enhance the code quality/process.
Provide guidance/support to other junior/midlevel developers.
Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions processes standards or operational plans that position client competitively in the marketplace.
All other duties as assigned or directed.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge skills abilities needed.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or a related field.
Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
5 years of experience with MongoDB Community Edition on Linux.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent communication and written skills.
Handson experience with Mongo Community edition.
Familiar with Mongo internals and how Mongo works outside of a GUI environment.
Designing building and automating the Infrastructure for MongoDB Community Edition.
Experience in using Python Ansible or similar methods to automate infrastructure tasks.
Experience with Shell Scripting.
Knowledge of MongoDB architecture.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
Experience with modern development software tools and methodologies.
Experience working on Agile projects and understanding Agile terminology.
Previous work in DevOps Environments.
Ansible Automation experience.
Git/Bitbucket Confluence JIRA experience
Experience on automating AWS ElastiCache provisioning administration and maintenance.
Experience working with AWS database services including RDS EC2 S3
Candidate should be able to work independently as well as in a team.
