- The development and implementation of strategies to facilitate the import/export of goods whilst ensuring that regulatory requirements and management of facilitation programs designed to make it easy for importers and exporters to conduct their business.
- The development and implementation of strategies to reduce the cost to businesses of the administrative processes needed to meet their tax compliance responsibilities.
- Ensuring that program development plans align with the Department’s strategic goals and objectives.
