Job Description
• Conduct routine check-ups topatients to assess their health condition and discover possibleissues • Give appropriate advice for healthyhabits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promoteoverall health • Conduct examinations to illpatients and evaluate symptoms to determine theircondition • Ask intuitive questions to discovercauses of illness • Reach an informed diagnosisbased on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medicalhistory • Prescribe and interpret lab tests toobtain more information for underlying infections orabnormalities • Prescribe medications or drugsand provide comprehensive instructions foradministration • Collaborate with otherphysicians, physician assistants and nurses to form a highperforming medical team • Examine and providetreatments to injuries and refer patients to other physicians whenneeded (ophthalmologists, orthopedists, neurologistsetc.) • Keep records of patients’diseases, operations or other significant information (e.g.allergic episodes) • Cultivate a climate of trustand compassion for patients
