What the role entails:

Some of the key responsibilities of our Head of Commercial Finance will be:

• Manage and lead a team providing mentorship guidance and fostering professional development while creating a positive and collaborative team culture focused on achieving financial objectives
• Lead indepth financial analysis to ensure sound and strategic decisionmaking with regard to all commercial activities
• Actively advise group management and local management with regards to financial risks opportunities and returnoninvestments
• Contribute to the development and execution of the companys financial strategy
• Lead the development and execution of financial planning budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the financial health and operational efficiency of the company
• Conduct business performance reviews with regions and business areas
• Develop and prepare financial reports to Senior Management and Board of Directors
• Implement and oversee cost control measures to optimize expenses ensuring operational efficiency and driving overall cost initiatives and awareness in the organization
• Collaborate with department heads to analyse and manage departmental budgets.
• Contribute to the consolidated monthly financial reporting
• Develop and maintain structures processes and internal controls to ensure effective performance management reporting accuracy and overall organizational compliance
• Utilize AI and other technologies to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices in financial processes
• Responsible for the finance tools
• Involved in potential M&Aactivities lead on relevant DDstreams
• Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions affecting financial performance.

What we ask of you:

• Masters degree in a relevant field or professional certifications (e.g. CPA CMA)
• You have a few years of experience in Investment Banking Transaction Services Management Consulting or Auditing (preferably Big 4) combined with experience from the Business Control field or Financial analysis
• Work experience in a similar role for a multinational company and have seen best practice before
• You have a strong interest in systems and system optimizations
• Proven experience in driving change finding optimal solutions and achieving the best results
• Eager to work in a global fastpaced and teamoriented environment.
• Expert in financial analysis with a handson approach to work
• Very comfortable working and structuring big data sets in Excel
• Comfortable in planning tools as well as budget and forecasting process
