Materials Manager

Growing Automotive Tier 1 Manufacturer seeking talented Materials Manager for one of the largest plants. This position has 9 direct reports including Master Schedulers Inventory Control Analyst Cycle Counters Shipping and Receiving EDI Specialist Material Handlers with at total team of 60. Will report to the Plant Manager. Will be responsible to managing the timely materials flow through the facility directing purchasing receiving shipping warehousing scheduling and inventory control functions.

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Must have 5 years experience in production scheduling materials management inventory control etc. including supervisory experience
• Strong ERPOracle experience as well as Microsoft applications EDI MRP MDS
• Strong leadership and management experience and good organization experience
• Ability to build cross functional relationships
• Must have automotive manufacturing experience lean manufacturing principles: (six sigma Kazien 5S CI TPM TPS etc.)
• Compensation: $100k $130K base with bonus benefits relocation
