On behalf of one of its clients an aviation company the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a General sales manager position.
The General Sales Manager is a member of the Engineering & Maintenance Group sales organisation and reports to the Regional Sales VP. He/She will be in charge of the prospection plans development sales strategies implementation in the perspective of growing a customer portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Portfolio Management and Reporting: Setting yearly sales targets mapping the portfolio devising market approach strategies and reporting on sales opportunities and campaigns. Monitoring existing contracts and contributing to accounts receivables process.
Relationship Building and Business Development: Establishing strong relationships with prospects and customers organizing visits identifying business opportunities and converting them into sales cases. Ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive aftersales support.
Contribution to Negotiation Process: Assisting in sales case preparation providing intelligence on competition and prospect expectations and contributing to negotiation processes.
Feedback and Market Intelligence: Providing feedback on sales activities customers and the market. Sharing field intelligence with the marketing team and educating the organization on cultural and behavioral aspects within the portfolio.
Compliance and Training: Ensuring compliance with internal commercial processes competition safety/security rules and participating in change management. Maintaining uptodate information in the system utilizing reporting capabilities and adhering to training requirements.
Overall the role requires a mix of strategic planning relationship management business development negotiation skills and adherence to compliance standards.
