As the Junior Company Secretary you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of the company particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Legal Compliance:
- Keep abreast of changes in relevant legislation and advise the board on the legal implications.
- Oversee the filing of necessary documents with regulatory bodies.
Board Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies.
Communication and Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of company activities.
- Facilitate communication between board members and other stakeholders.
Annual Reports:
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of the companys annual reports.
Shareholder Relations:
- Manage relationships with shareholders and respond to their queries and concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Law Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional qualification as a Company Secretary Inter (e.g. ICSA).
- Indepth knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
