• Shifts: Days 12 hours 4x10s
  
• Work Location: Onsite; Hudson NY
  

• Perform Magnetic Resonance exams on hospital inpatients emergency department patients and outpatients.
  
• Responsible for maintaining quality assurance programs in the MRI department and assisting in regulatory compliance issues and inspections
  
• This individual must be highly motivated and patient care oriented.
  
• Greet and interview patients to obtain relevant medical history and ensure their comfort and understanding of the MRI procedure.
  
• Explain the MRI process answer questions and address any concerns to alleviate patient anxiety.
  
• Prepare and position patients for the MRI scan ensuring proper alignment and patient safety.
  
• Administer contrast agents as necessary and in accordance with established protocols.
  
• Verify patient identification and obtain informed consent.
  
• Implement safety protocols including screening patients for contraindications and ensuring the absence of metallic objects.
  

Requirements

• Graduate of approved school of radiologic technology
  

• NYS licensed in Diagnostic Radiology
  
• ARRT registered in MRI
  
• BLS
  

• 1 year MRI experience preferred
