Tech Lead Fullstack or Backend

This is a remote position.

** This is a remote position but it is preferred that the ideal candidate resides in Baja California and/or Sonora Mexico.**

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced intellectually curious and flexible Tech Lead to join

our small but mighty team. As a key member of our organization and reporting to our VP of

Product you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence innovation and

problemsolving within our projects and company.

Responsibilities:

Partner closely with Product and collaborate with other crossfunctional teams to design

develop and implement highquality software solutions.

Lead technical discussions providing expertise in architecture design and

implementation.

Stay uptodate on industry trends and emerging technologies to influence our technical

roadmap.

Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and

methodologies.

Work very closely with our Ukrainianbased offshore engineering team

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead or similar role.

Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (ex. Ruby Python

JavaScript).

Strong familiarity with a variety of programming frameworks (ex. Rails React React

Native NextJS)

Indepth knowledge of software design principles algorithms and data structures.

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a technical team.

Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.

Highly effective communication skills both verbal and written. You aren t satisfied to just

say something you take the next step to ensure people understand.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Highly skilled at active listening while also being able to provide strong points of view

loosely held.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker

Kubernetes).

Experience working with offshore engineering teams
