Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with specialized experience in Snowflake data sharing and extensive proficiency in utilizing Azure Data Factory. The s
uccessful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our data capabilities within the biopharmaceutical domain. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data engineering principles a strong background in the life sciences industry and handson experience implementing data solutions to support business objectives.
Location: Remote
Preference: W2 or 1099 candidates

Qualifications:
8 years of handson experience in data engineering/ETL using Azure Data Factory or other ETL technologies.
5 years of extensive experience with Snowflake and using Data Sharing features is mandatory
Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts (Dimensional (starschema) SCD2 Data Vault Denormalized OBT) implementing highly performant data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources
Deep level of skills with Python / PySpark and SQL
Experience working in biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry is plus
Certifications in Snowflake Azure Data Factory or related technologies is highly desired.
Familiarity with biopharmaceutical data compliance and regulatory standards is a plus.
