Our direct client currently has an opening for a Cisco Network Engineer II for their IT Group at their Headquarters location in downtown Los Angeles CA.

The expected duration is 6 month contract with the option to convert to direct hire with our client.

Selfrelocation for the right candidate is an option.

W2 Only local candidates encouraged to apply.

This is a hybrid schedule with an expected two days a week in the office.

This is a 44/36 with every other Friday off that starts as early as 7:00am 4:30pm.

Please note this position requires the successful completion of a background check drug screen and employment and education verification prior to starting work.

Seeking someone whos professional organized with strong written and verbal communication and must be Cisco proficient. This position will support all clients Network.

In this position the Cisco Network Engineer will be responsible for routing switching and engineering firewalls and cyber security protection including support design and integration.

**It would be a real plus if the candidate has knowledge in: Design maintenance and support of network infrastructure including: Cisco and Arista switches and layers trunks portchannels and spanning tree protocols.

The hiring manager is asking for someone who has knowledge of principles practices and procedures of Information Technology; network systems and applications; principles practices and procedures of network design research and development capacity planning and quality of service; operational characteristics of network systems; word processing and spreadsheets; project management; and current office technology and equipment.
