Job Description

Essential/ Key Responsibilities
Contract Management: Draft review and negotiate contracts ensuring legal and project
compliance. Proactively address contractual issues and disputes in collaboration with legal
teams. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the
contract lifecycle.
Contract Renewals & Termination: Develop a systematic approach for managing contract
renewals terminations and extensions. Identify opportunities for renegotiation or
improvement during the renewal process.
Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with
vendors contractors and other external stakeholders. Collaborate with vendors to optimize
contract terms pricing and service levels. Conduct regular performance reviews and
address any issues or concerns.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks within contracts and implement
strategies to mitigate those risks. Work closely with legal and risk management teams to
address contractual and legal risks.
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Providing guidance training and mentorship to junior
team members contributing to their professional growth and development.
Tender Management Develop and implement tendering strategies aligned with project
objectives.
Collaborate with relevant departments to gather project requirements for tendering.
Evaluate and analyse tender submissions negotiating terms with vendors.

Operational Duties
Document Management: Maintain a centralized contract repository with accurate and up
todate information. Oversee the creation distribution and retrieval of project documents.
Implement document control measures for accessibility and confidentiality.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate open communication between project stakeholders
and contractors. Provide regular updates on contract status potential risks and dispute
resolution. Collaborate with project managers legal teams and other stakeholders on
contractrelated matters. Foster positive and collaborative relationships with internal and
external
Compliances Ensure that all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Regularly update and educate internal teams on changes in relevant laws and regulations
affecting contracts.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance and
compliance to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement
based on performance data.
Required Work Experience & Knowledge
Recruitment Background: 34 years of experience required in contracts Management.
Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership within a Contract management
team is beneficial showcasing the ability to lead and mentor 23team members.
Required Education
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering ( B.Tech)
Master s degree in construction Management would be preferable

understanding how they align with the companys goals and contribute to its longterm
success.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Ability to find mutually beneficial solutions during negotiations.
Contract Law Knowledge: Ability to interpret legal terms and conditions in contracts by
understanding the law & Principles
Documentation: The ability to create organize and maintain comprehensive and accuratedocumentation throughout the contract lifecycle ensuring clarity transparency and
adherence to legal and organizational standards.
Liaisoning Skills: Fostering relationships with clients vendors and partners that contribute
to the organizations longterm success. Collaborating with key stakeholders to gather
insights and align contract activities with organizational functions.
Risk Anticipation: Identifying potential risks associated with contracts and contractual
relationships. Developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks and ensure organizational
resilience

function.
