Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a creative and engaging curriculum for young children
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play
• Develop ageappropriate lesson plans and activities
• Observe and assess childrens development and progress
• Communicate effectively with parents on their childs progress and behavior
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and their families
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
• Encourage social emotional and cognitive development through play and learning activities
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching environment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Certification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting
• Knowledge of child development principles and theories
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment
• Understanding of ageappropriate teaching methods and activities
• Patience and compassion in working with young children
• Ability to manage and resolve conflicts among children
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations for childcare facilities
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and energetic environment
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
• Current CPR and first aid certification is desirable
• Understanding of diversity and inclusion in an educational setting
