WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

CloserStill Media is on the lookout for a Digital Lead with a digitalfirst mindset adept at navigating the fastpaced events industry. Our business spans across the learning healthcare technology future transport infrastructure and veterinary sectors in Europe Asia and the US. Your role will be pivotal in engaging our audiences and elevating our digital presence throughout the year leading up to our events.

As the Digital Lead your primary focus will be on our Learning & HR Tech portfolio UK & FR and supporting our US shows where permitted based on the direction of the US Marketing Director and the Head of Digital & CRM. You will oversee and manage two digital marketing managers each responsible for their respective portfolios. Its crucial that you facilitate team management and ensure all digital marketing activities align with the strategic vision set by the Head of Digital & CRM.

Your role is key to streamlining our digital marketing processes. You will work closely with the digital marketing managers to innovate and enhance our approaches to tracking reporting analysing and marketing thereby increasing efficiency across the board.

You will be based in our new high specLondon HQ with potential global travel opportunities. Your responsibilities include developing and executing digital campaigns maintaining digital excellence across the Learning & HR Portfolio and at times extending your expertise to our wider portfolios.

THE ROLE:

    • Leading and refining digital marketing strategies to promote brand awareness and audience growth.
    • Directing online channel activities including email marketing SEO Paid Search Paid Social and partnerships to drive traffic lead generation and revenue.
    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our AI registration and event app infrastructure with the assistance of the broader digital and data teams. Ensure the effective rollout of best practices and the integration of new tools across our platforms.
    • Training and guiding marketing teams in implementing digital strategies and campaigns.
    • Conducting customer journey testing to enhance functionality and revenue opportunities.
    • Collaborating with marketing leaders on your portfolio to improve digital marketing for both exhibitors and visitors improving ROI and driving more commercial opportunities.
    • Collaborating with content and conference teams for keyword research audience insights and market research.
    • Managing Google platform tools for site and campaign performance.
    • Creating reports with performance insights and recommendations.
    • Developing automation strategies and generating leads through various web interactions.
    • Leading digital projects collaborating with peers and overseeing campaign implementation and optimisation.
    • Innovating with digital techniques and managing event technology and apps.
    • Line management of digital marketing managers including regular 1:1s support KPI setting and performance management.
    • Champion CRM (HubSpot) for the marketing function work closely with the marketing automation teams to ensure we are consistently improving and remaining efficient.

    ABOUT YOU:

    • Experience delivering paid & organic digital campaigns
    • Experience managing junior and midlevel members of a marketing or digital department
    • Able to oversee and manage budgets of 200k
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience working within fastpaced environments
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
    • Strong administrative skills
    • Excellent time management prioritisation and negotiation skills
    • Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
    • Experience managing budgets with strong numeracy skills
    • Proactive and able to utilise initiative
    • Experience effectively managing internal stakeholders and external customers
    • Strong IT skills and systems management (e.g. CRM systems MS Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel)
    • A good level of exposure to the digital systems we use (Google platform Salesforce LinkedIn Facebook email platforms such as HubSpot)
