Purpose of Role :
This role would suit either a Tax Manager currently working in practice looking to gain experience working in an inhouse role or someone already working inhouse to widen their experience.
Reporting to Financial Controller Americas with a dotted line to the UKbased Group Head of Tax the Tax Manager Americas will be responsible for all aspects of tax compliance planning and reporting. This role involves ensuring compliances with all applicable tax laws and regulations working with Global Finance in developing and implementing tax strategies specific to the region to minimize liabilities and providing taxrelated guidance to the commercial finance and operational leadership. Collinson actively encourages the implementation of innovative technology solutions and is currently undertaking a global Finance Transformation project which creates a unique opportunity for this person to trial and implement tax technology solutions to drive efficiencies in the compliance processes especially with regard to Sales Taxes There will also be the opportunity to partner with the different business units within Collinson to provide Americas related US tax input into cross border commercial transactions. Where specialist knowledge is required (either in the US or elsewhere in the region) this role will own and manage the relationship with those outsourced tax specialists.
