Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical

Your impact:

As the Maintenance Supervisor Mechanical you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance repair and inspection activities of mechanical equipment used in offshore geotechnical operations. Leading a team of skilled technicians youll plan maintenance schedules implement preventive strategies and ensure safe and efficient operations. International travel may be required to support activities across our fleet.

The Job:

• Supervise and support a team of mechanical technicians.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance.
• Assist in selection and training of team members.
• Stay updated with industry trends and recommend equipment upgrades.

The Person:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial setting preferably offshore operations.
• Certifications in relevant areas.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including diesel engines hydraulics and geotechnical drilling equipment.
• Experience in team leadership and effective management of technicians.
• Proficient in planning and executing preventive maintenance programs.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to diagnose mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work offshore and adapt to irregular schedules if required.
• Knowledge of highpressure pneumatics or compensation systems is advantageous
