With this goal in mind the trainee will support the Rethinking governance in the EU project and the development of new initiatives in the area of social policy at the EU level (particularly in relation to basic services). These projects are at the heart of the ZOE Institute futurefit agenda that is exploring the challenges that arise while reconciling tensions between complex policy issues of green and just transition.

Conditions
The contract is 3240 hours per week for six months with flexible working hours to be arranged. The position will start as soon as possible and latest April 1st 2024. The trainee must be based in or willing to relocate at their own expense to Brussels. Work can be performed from home with the possibility to work from our offices several days per week.
The gross monthly salary for 40 hours per week is 2151 euros prorated for fewer hours. The remuneration for this position is based on our internal salary framework informed by the collective agreement of the public service of the Lnder. For a fulltime (40 hours) position the trainee will be offered 2.5 paid vacation days per month. This is 15 days over a sixmonth traineeship.
