Job Description

Paradigm is searching for a Technical Writer to join our client a manufacturer and distributor of chemical products used in semiconductor manufacturing. As a Technical Writer you will play a crucial role in creating clear and concise documentation and instructional materials for our products and processes. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into userfriendly content. Initial focus will be on training process safety management and process quality analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulated manufacturing and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Type: 1 year contract Full Time
Location: Portland OR Hybrid

As a Technical Writer you will:

Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and transform technical information into userfriendly content.
Create edit and update instructional manuals user guides and other technical documents.
Develop and maintain templates style guides and document standards.
Review and revise existing technical documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Research and stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in technical writing.
Communicate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of documentation.
Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.


Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

Bachelors degree in Journalism Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
4 years of experience in technical writing in a regulated manufacturing industry.
Proficient in the use of industrystandard authoring tools (e.g. Adobe FrameMaker Microsoft Word).
Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a nontechnical audience.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
