Responsibilities :
Deliver world class infrastructure engineering and operations solutions and processes and drive the adoption of automation and end-to-end solutions within the team, with focus on continuous incremental improvements
Leading several teams of highly skilled systems engineers in various locations across the globe, providing direction, ongoing coaching and feedback, assessing performance and making effective staffing decisions
Serve as a single point of contact for all major operation issues, escalations, and improvement plans and implement a culture of accountability within the team
Establish the monthly operations review forum and define the KPIs and metrics to monitor and manage team and service performance levels
Examine, refine, and develop the existing monitoring and response metrics of the company's internal and cloud infrastructure
Ensure Infrastructure team provides necessary support to accomplish the Department of Information Technologies goals
Ensure Incident and Change Control documents are accurate and complete
Establishes policies, standards, practices, and security measures to ensure compliance with accepted industry practice
Develop global maintenance schedules for network and cloud services
Coordinate comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations
Develop and ensure the implementation of capacity planning programs, taking into account both auto-scaling capabilities as well as cost optimisations.
Ensure the adoption of leading edge technologies to build and secure the SaaS infrastructure
Provide 7x24 continuous service monitoring, preventive maintenance, and emergence response capabilities

Qualifications For Director, Infrastructure
Demonstrable leaderships skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a timely manner with senior management and staff
Demonstrated supervisory experience and the ability to lead and manage staff. Demonstrated experience in organizing and coordinating work of others, setting priorities and assigning work.
Ten years of technology experience, including troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis of complex infrastructure solutions
