Job Description
The Tennessee Department of Health Division of Family Health and Wellness is seeing an Epidemiologist for the Tennessee Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program (TAPPP)/Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) program housed within the Reproductive and Womens Health section.
Some of the specific responsibilities of the position include: Use SAS or other equivalent software to clean and statistically analyze data. Conduct basic descriptive epidemiologic analyses and report findings. Create written/visual data summaries (e.g. reports fact sheets infographics). Give presentations and/or trainings (virtual and inperson) to various internal and external audiences. Conduct health and needs assessments and assist in program evaluation activities. Collect analyze and prepare data for federally required SRAE reports. Monitor SRAE data and work with subgrantees to ensure data timeliness and quality. Provide epidemiological expertise to program staff subgrantees and other partners. Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external partners.
Position is renewable annually grant funding renewal anticipated annually.
