Job Description
Azure DevOps Solutions architect
Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert in designing building and managing solutions using the Azure cloud platform and associated technologies.
- Drive the DevOps strategy through collaboration with software engineering teams ensure streamlined software delivery and facilitate continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) solutions.
- Guide teams in developing testing and deploying applications on Azure.
- Define best practices for DevOps source control continuous integration automation integration testing and release management in an Azure environment.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable enterpriselevel software applications ensuring architectural best practices are incorporated.
- Manage Scrum processes coach the team remove impediments and promote selfmanagement to help teams understand and execute the Scrum framework correctly.
- Maintain the capacity plan manage resource allocation and conduct performance reviews.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
- Build stakeholder relationships manage expectations and escalate risks and issues appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure Solutions Architect Scrum Master and DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Azure and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps GitLab GitHub etc.
- Certified Solutions Architect. Certifications in Azure and Scrum (CSM PSM or similar) will be advantageous.
- Experienced with Agile methodologies and associated practices like testdriven development lean development and pair programming.
- Deep understanding of the principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management (SCM) in Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell Python etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
