Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
• Inspecting machinery to identify any issues
• Performing repairs to correct mechanical malfunctions
• Operating various hand and power tools for maintenance purposes
• Following safety precautions and protocols
• Documenting maintenance and repair activities
• Assisting in the installation of new equipment
• Collaborating with other team members to improve maintenance processes
• Ordering and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts
• Training junior staff on maintenance procedures
• Responding to emergency maintenance requests
• Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• I.T.I and deploma in Mechanical Maintance
• Completion of a mechanical maintenance apprenticeship or similar program
• Proven experience working as a mechanical maintenance technician
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Proficient in using various hand and power tools
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Basic computer skills for entering maintenance data
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good physical condition and strength for lifting and moving heavy equipment
• Strong attention to detail and precision in maintenance tasks
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs
