Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled technical Business Analyst with a strong background in ecommerce to collaborate with crossfunctional teams in gathering and analysing requirements identifying business opportunities and implementing technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business acumen and technical expertise to facilitate the development of our ecommerce platforms and enhance our online customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to ecommerce initiatives.
- Conduct indepth analysis of existing ecommerce systems processes and data to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
- Work closely with Agile teams including developers designers and QAs to ensure successful implementation of ecommerce solutions.
- Serve as the conduit between nontechnical stakeholders and Product Owners / delivery teams ensuring all parties are aligned and wellinformed.
- Collaborate with both onshore and offshore development teams to articulate business and technical requirements.
- Create user stories from business requirements and document these in JIRA.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and ecommerce to propose innovative solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven practical experience as a Business Analyst with strong focus on ecommerce and customer journeys.
- A proven working understanding of agile methodologies and their application.
- Strong technical grounding especially in the realms of thirdparty API integration (payment gateways CRM etc.) and customer journey modifications.
- Exceptional communication abilities adept at bridging the divide between technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Additional certifications in Business Analysis or Agile a bonus.
