Job Description
Our client is searching for a Sr Electrical Engineer (PE).
In the Electrical Engineer role you will have the opportunity to support Project Engineers by performing the routine aspects of engineering assignments as well as potentially serve as technical primary point of contact for selected projects. This opportunity will allow you to acquire knowledge and develops basic technical skills and learn to apply prescribed techniques and procedures to projects in accordance with established criteria. Future advancement opportunities exist beyond the position of Electrical Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine design tasks and gain experience and familiarization with the engineering methods practices and programs of the firm
- Prepare drawings and visual aids
- Maintain and foster relationships with selected established clients
Requirements
Requirements:
- Producing electrical drawings for architectural projects
- 5 years of experience in the design of buildings and related projects
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in the design of power distribution lighting and fire alarm systems for multifamily residential healthcare commercial light industrial and institutional projects
- Experience with Revit
- E.I.T. certification or Registered P.E.
- Experience with power distribution lighting and fire alarm systems
Experience with a focus on:

- Eventually leading and managing a technical staff

Associate s Degree or certification in drafting and design technology or related program Strong knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office 365 software Experience in developing full sets of highly-detailed, accurate construction documents Knowledge of construction materials, assemblies, and systems for healthcare and lab design is preferred, but not required Responsibilities include: Collaboration with principal and project managers in creating projects for our clients, from schematic design through construction administration On-site visits, field reviews, and project meetings Research of building codes and materials selections Maintenance of project files, correspondence, drawings, and material samples Creation of presentation materials for client meetings
