As Senior Backend Engineer (f/d/m) Platform you report directly to our CTO Raphael. You will support the development of our platform in close collaboration with a PM and help the team develop and grow. On top of that you want to do good with your job.
Your mission
- You will develop new features related to foundational services on the RaiseNow platform e.g. working on our event and webhook system security user and role management
- You will continuously improve existing features on the RaiseNow platform
- You will actively monitor production systems
- You will perform code reviews
- You will take on responsibility for the stability of the platform by joining our oncall duty team (additional compensation)
- You provide internal 2ndlevel support for other teams
Your profile
- Proficiency in the ecosystem of PHP together with Symfony (or similar PHP frameworks)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and eventdriven systems (designing and reasoning)
- Gathering and translating highlevel requirements into technical specifications
- Familiar with the unit and functional testing as well as code reviews git workflows and continuous delivery approach
- Striving for simplicity and when its not possible keeping an eye on the devil in the details
- Fluent in written and verbal English (at least C1 level)
