Job Description
Structural/Bridge Engineer
Client located in Columbus OH is seeking a Structural/Bridge Engineer to join the team and work on some exciting new projects! Qualified candidates should be strong communicators and multitaskers who can work on several projects at once while mentoring and leading a team. Projects include working on varied projects for INDOT counties and municipalities.
General Responsibilities Include

Client located in Columbus OH is seeking a Structural/Bridge Engineer to join the team and work on some exciting new projects! Qualified candidates should be strong communicators and multitaskers who can work on several projects at once while mentoring and leading a team. Projects include working on varied projects for INDOT counties and municipalities.
General Responsibilities Include
- Design and prepare engineering drawings for Structural projects bridges retaining walls and culverts.
- Perform quantity and cost estimate calculations.
- Handle client relations as needed.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of structural / bridge designs completed by others.
- Other support as required.
- Work closely with other Practice Areas on multidiscipline projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
- 8 years of related experience in bridge design analysis load rating and inspection.
- Experience on projects for clients such as INDOT County DOTs and local municipalities.
- PE License required. SE license or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Microstation/OpenBridge proficiency.
