Job8415Seeking a Register Nurse Abstractor Cardiovascular for a 199 bed Short Term Acute CareForProfit Hospital.Knowledge of principles methods and procedures of Cardiovascular care.Knowledge of state and local laws and regulations governing Cardiology services/systems.Collaborates with clinical team to maintain the cardiovascular program.Reviews/abstracts records for Cardiovascular Registries.Participates in the development of policies and procedures creates processes for evaluating system performance and patient outcomes.Provides oversight of data abstraction (may use third party)Ensures data accuracy.Disseminates data to stakeholders.Utilizes data for evaluation of clinical processes.Coordinates and oversees the ongoing CQI process to improve care of the cardiac patient population.Assists in the planning development and implementation of program goals and operations.Oversees the tracking process for data related to throughput of the cardiac patients and provides data to the Chest Pain Committee to initiate changes as appropriate and to improve outcomes.Who We Are:People are our passion and purpose.
