Scope:
This position is with our fintech client (KEENU) for their office based in 22 CC Gulberg 3 Lahore. Keenu (operated by Wemsol Pvt Ltd) is licensed and regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI).
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers providing guidance support and ensuring the teams overall success.
- Collaborate with other teams such as development and operations to promote a seamless workflow.
- Develop and execute the DevOps strategy aligning it with the organization's overall business objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to keep the organization at the forefront of industry developments.
- Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects.
- Automate and optimize build test and deployment processes.
- Ensure the stability reliability and scalability of the CI/CD infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
- Establish and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for applications and infrastructure.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure system availability and performance.
- Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to software delivery.
- Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on DevOps
- initiatives and achievements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in a DevOps role with a focus on leadership and team management.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
- Handson experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform Ansible).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Solid understanding of security principles in a DevOps environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DevOps certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Docker Certified Associate).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends.
