Team Lead DevOps Engineer

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers providing guidance support and ensuring the teams overall success.
  
• Collaborate with other teams such as development and operations to promote a seamless workflow.
  
• Develop and execute the DevOps strategy aligning it with the organization's overall business objectives.
  
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to keep the organization at the forefront of industry developments.
  
• Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects.
  
• Automate and optimize build test and deployment processes.
  
• Ensure the stability reliability and scalability of the CI/CD infrastructure.
  
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
  
• Establish and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for applications and infrastructure.
  
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure system availability and performance.
  
• Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to software delivery.
  
• Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
  
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on DevOps
  
• initiatives and achievements.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in a DevOps role with a focus on leadership and team management.
  
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
  
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
  
• Handson experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform Ansible).
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
  
• Solid understanding of security principles in a DevOps environment.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  

• DevOps certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Docker Certified Associate).
  
• Experience with microservices architecture.
  
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
  
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends.
