Job Description
- Project Analysis: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand the scope of work and requirements for mechanical systems.
- Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical engineering projects, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and other relevant expenses.
- Material Take-Offs: Conduct accurate material take-offs based on project requirements and specifications to determine the quantity and type of materials needed.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Obtain quotes and pricing from vendors and suppliers for materials and equipment, negotiate pricing when necessary, and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
