Job Description
- Project Analysis: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand the scope of work, project requirements, and constraints.
- Cost Estimation: Lead the development of detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and other relevant expenses.
- Material Take-Offs: Conduct comprehensive material take-offs based on project plans and specifications to accurately quantify the required materials and quantities.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Obtain quotes and pricing from vendors and suppliers for materials and equipment, negotiate pricing when necessary, and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
