Summary:
Our client is seeking passionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their esteemed healthcare teams in various specialties across hospital inpatient and outpatient departments. As an RN you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess patients develop individualized care plans and ensure safe transitions throughout the healthcare encounter. Multiple specialties are available including but not limited to Cath Lab CVOR CVICU ER Float Pool ICU L and amp;D Med Surg NICU Oncology OR Tele and Trauma.
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Clinical Judgment: Conduct accurate clinical assessments identify patient and family needs develop implement and evaluate nursing care plans and modify plans to meet clinical outcomes.
- Clinical Inquiry: Evaluate nursing practice quality promote evidencebased practice changes and participate in quality/performance improvement initiatives.
- Caring Practices: Create a therapeutic environment develop therapeutic relationships manage physical and emotional pain and promote relief and healing.
- Response to Diversity: Recognize and incorporate patient and family differences into individualized care plans.
- Advocacy and Moral Agency: Preserve patient confidentiality and autonomy represent patient concerns and resolve ethical and clinical issues.
- Facilitation of Learning: Facilitate patient family and staff learning assess learning needs and outcomes and integrate education throughout the continuum of care.
- Partnership: Collaborate with colleagues and community members delegate tasks appropriately and ensure timely followup.
- Systems Thinking: Utilize resources for problemsolving consider safety and efficiency factors in patient care delivery.
- Professionalism: Improve nursing practice and work environment participate in decisionmaking processes and engage in ongoing professional growth and community service.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and expertise in nursing standards procedures and regulations.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to observe and communicate changes in patient condition effectively.
- Proficiency in medical terminology health promotion and medication management.
- General computer skills including Microsoft Office and electronic medical documentation.
- Graduation from an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer).
