Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced motivated Sales Engineering (SE) leader to manage our client s global Sales Engineering team. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer you will lead a highly skilled global team of Sales Engineers and work closely with the sales teams to understand client needs; strategize on how to navigate sales cycles; provide valuebased technical information and use cases; and plan and executive well qualified pilots and business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Define and lead the Sales Engineering and Customer Success teams fostering accountability and growth.
Lead and develop the company s worldwide Sales Engineering team (currently 14) and Customer Success team (3) to exceed targets.
Provide presales technical expertise training and skills development of the SE team.
Develop and manage critical presales processes reporting.
Direct involvement in large deals.
Provide oversight and support for large pilots/POC.
Provide consistent clear twoway communication with Product Management on all product and competitorrelated topics.
Profile Requirements
Fluency in English is a must; previous experience with Anglophone clients is a plus.
15 years of relevant experience with 10 years experience leading global sales engineering teams.
Previous experience managing 10 direct reports
Strong technical/engineering background in Enterprise Software Open Source Dev Ops Application engineering and infrastructure.
Knowledge of and experience working with channel partners.
Successful track record of hiring great talent with the ability to attract talented sales engineers.
University degree in computer science engineering or related fields or equivalent experience.
