Infra Tech Engineering LLC is actively seeking Office Engineers to work on Highway and Bridge Inspection projects
Essential functions of the Office Engineer position include the review of inspector s daily reports for accuracy the preparation and maintenance of monthly estimate and material certification books using CEES or other applicable software the preparation of change orders as needed monitoring of the budget and schedule submittal tracking maintenance of project files and documentation and the preparation of meeting minutes and jobrelated correspondence. The Office Engineer will work under the Resident Engineer s guidance and ensure successful execution completion and closeout of the project as well as perform all other duties as assigned.
Provide engineering support for projects in various stages of design estimating and construction.
Assist Estimators with analysis of proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
Tracking and managing change orders.
Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders subcontracts productivity analysis reports etc. into unit and manhour figures and Keeping up daily work tickets.
Support Project Managers with the preparation and maintenance of construction schedules.
Maintain construction files and logs.
Receive review forward and track status of submittals and change orders.
Initiate prepare review track and distribute RFIs.
Update construction schedule based on project team input.
Track and inspect material deliveries.
Assist in preparation of monthly owner project status reports.
Attend project meetings and record meeting minutes.
Assist in project closeout.
Maintaining Redline asbuilt drawings as work is completed.
Tracking maintain and managing of project issues and Log.
Tracking maintain and managing of project Dunning letters.
5 years of directly relevant experience.
Familiarity with the preparation of daily reports in accordance with the Manual for Uniform Record keeping (MURK) is required;
Previous NYSDOT experience and knowledge of specifications and standards are preferred;
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
NICET III/IV ACI EIT and OSHA 10 preferred.
